The fight was fast and not much interaction except the quick KO by Bas...Remember that one mans TKO may be seen as a Ko by the org. The guy got up right away and walked...that is a TKO in my books.
Bas rules, good to see that even at an older age he can fight. maybe he should take on Kenny Shamrock again, somebody has to keep the old man busy...he wont retire for long unfortunatly.

If anyone thinks that Bas could not take a big man, I just saw this and thought it was funny.

Bas is helping Mark Kerr get ready for a fight, it is on smashing machine, and Ricco Rodriques says he will help Kerr as well, but he goes out partying. So Kerr is pissed and asks Bas to KO Ricco...so he does, it is funny.

Warpath was a last minute sub. He was supposed to fight Kimo and guess who failed his 30th drug test...

Bas is awesome!!! one of the toughest mother fuckers around. I heard rumor that he got in a bar fight in Romania and took on 24 people. Insane! wouldn't doubt it tho.

That is a urban legoned that gets nailed every once and a while for differnt people. I have heard that one of my Karate instructors once saw his instructor clear a bar of Yakuza in Japan. It was not true then and it may not be true now....it was only 5 Yakuza!

He was on tv recently with Ortiz, Lister, & Couture at National Geographic Channel. I forgot what the show it was, but Bas still throw knockout kicks and punches harder than Muay Thai kicks and Boxing punches.

I saw it too. Bas kicked a crash test dummy in the chest with a full power roundhouse kick.

The dummys chest caved in about 6 inches. And crash test dummys are designed to be the same as human bodies. That kick would probably kill someone who is skinny and doesnt have any muscles to absorb anything. Break the spine in half.

It was an interesting watch but to say he could kill a man with a body type like that is a lil mad as not many mma fighters like that, well in his weight class anyway. Like the docu said fighters condition themselves to take shots like that, if they didn't the amount of injuries would be sky hi.
must say though bas still looked great and wouldn't be supriesed if he made a ufc comeback, anyone know or heard anything on that?
Love all mma, and big UFC fan but I do miss Pride.
Big Supporter or British MMA so a shout out to Micheal Bisbing, Paul Taylor and Dan Hardy who are representing well and makeing their mark in the UFC!!!
