Ok guys, I just bought a HCK competition single gi. Now my rule question is:

is it allowed to compete in? My coach says that it isn't.

If it sold as a competition gi then it should be allowed....

yeah I mailed Howard Liu on Sunday, he said it's made according to the CBJJ rules. It's really hard to grip the gi under the arms and over the shoulders. We'll see when I start competing.

Is it a good gi, i bought a badboy gi a while ago and its great quality but the legs were short so i had to extend them lol

LOL! yeah I wanted to buy one of them because I've always like their logo. HCK makes the thickest competitions gis avalible! =)

so yeah it's great... but damn heavy after a good workout

yeah i liked the logo thats why i bought it. but i had to extend the legs as it was about 6 inches short lol. it was supposed to be for someone upto 6"3.

perhaps but a few people i have spoken to have had the same problem in the taller range

aha.... then the people at bad boy are crazy. The gi I looked at was like 150$!

i paid about that but got stung on import tax and paid around £130 total but i do like it its blue with the eyes on front of the jacket and badboy down the side of the pants, i think it looks awesome, shame i cant fight as well as i look lol

If you buy anything in future from the states ask them to put it as a gift that way you dont pay import tax. I found this out to late lol
