bjj seems to be the most effective fighting art in most cases as seen in ufc aswell as other mma fights so i was wondering who would win a full contact fight between the father of full contact stand up fightingand jkd vs the father of bjj Helio Gracie.Giving that bruce has no ground skills and Helio isnt much of a stand up fighter

bruce lee would have no ground technique, and barely any grappling skills, a simple rear naked choke to bruce lee and he's out.

I am going with the old guy that died to soon...Gracie that is. If he lived to be 1000 years old he might have passed on 10% of what he knew to the world. Lee however showed us all of his skills in the movies!

No, the closest he came was dojo sparring and some set up demos. yes he was gifted but he was not Skilled in that area.

i htink that would be fair to say but the situation is lee vs. gracie. that should say it all there. if he hasnt been tested its hard to say otherwise. gracie undoubtedly.

look at it this way, Gracie had been in some great battles....Lee made good films. IN a real fight no one knows how Lee would react to being taken down and tied up, But Gracie has been punched in the face a few times....I still say Lee is a untested fighter.

They should do a 1000 computer generated fights with their strengths and weaknesses just to see who at least have the advantage.
