According to 15rounds.com Dana White has given the Croatian Sensation Mirko "Cro Cop" until Monday February 4th to decide on whether or not he will stay with the UFC.
The UFC does not want to wait any longer for Mirko who is being hesitant with his decision. “We’re waiting to hear from him,” said White, “We told him we’d wait for him to make a decision, but he’s not making a decision. The deadline is pretty much up, and I need decision from him by Monday (February 4),”
It will be interesting to see how this situation unfolds. Mirko has taken time off since his last defeat at the hands of Cheick Kongo, apparently to correct a sinus problem that had been hampering his breathing.
Stay tuned for Mirko's decision which should come in the next couple of days.

I dont see him leaveing at this point, I hope not at least. I think he still has a few more fights in him and he wont be leaving the UFC to join another company, if he leaves it will be to hang up the fight shorts, and I dont want to see that.

It is official, sort of. Cro Cop has left Zuffa and has joined "Dream" which is a company formed from ex pride staff and backed by K1s MMA division. He is headlineing the fights. Apparently not wanting to retire and not happy with the UFC not putting dream fights together for him he asked to be released from his contract and Zuffa did this then he went to Dream and signed. Done deal....Long live the Croation Cop!

They cant, he dropped two fights and asked to get cut, they said yes...he signed with "DREAM"! LOL, That is one for Dana to get ticked over. But lets face it he has a built in down for CC>..CC lost to two second string fighters! Who cares were he goes!

Cro Cop wants no part of the cage. He knows the ring in Japan will be much better for his career. Beating Mirko in a ring when hes on his A-Game is close to impossible unless your name is Fedor. Randleman's win was a fluke and Big Nog was simply a superior MMA Artist to Mirko when he beat him. Until Nog got the sub, Mirko was tooling him 10x harder than Tim was. If Fedor ever lost in the UFC, he would come back and go on a 5 fight winning streak. Mirko ran away to Japan.

The size of the guys that beat Mirko was different than in PRIDE. I mean Fedor is not HUGE like Kong, who happens to be a tool! And Nog is not Massive like Gonzo. I think Gurre is on to something here. Not only that but I hear that the UFC was basically dissing CC for his two losses and saying he was over hyped. I guess he lost heart working for a boss that was putting him down! I would!!!!
