I know it has probably been the talk of the boxing community for a while but I only read it today and I can't wait for De La Hoya to face Pacquiao. This could be an amazing fight especially with the way Pacquiao has been and this potentially being the last fight of an amzing career.
I am genuinly excited about this fight, especially as I can be completly neutral.
Hopefully my boy Ricky Hatton can get a super fight again soon. I know Joe Calzaghe has his super fight coming up and will be eager for that too.
May I also add a Come on Amir Khan tonight who has a very tough in fact his toughest fight yet when he fights Colombian Breidis Prescott....come on son.

I cannot wait: an older, slower, bigger fighter vs a younger, quicker and smaller fighter. They are no losers on this one - both are going to get PAID!
I personally think the Pacman is going to wear De La Hoya down with his quickness.

I would like to see Pacquiao beat him but it's so hard to back against Oscar, the guy knows how to win. Just looking forward to a genuine top boxing fight with 2 of the best in YEARS. So hopefully it will be the fight I hope it will be.

OMG yeah, I saw it too. I must say from a british point of view and a khan fan I am really gutted. From a boxing fans point of view Prescott looked fantastic and could be a potential world beater.
I was so gutted watching the Khan fight as I have been singing his praises and had high hopes for him.
The truth now however is this...Khan has all the boxing skills in the world but he doesn't have a chin to take a punch which has been demonstraited many times over. So as good as he is if he doesn't develope that with age he is through as far as worlds best boxers.
Side comment too, VERY bad pick of opponent by his management team. Why give a guy who has been proved to have a weak chin a fighter who is known to have great KO power. He is still developing and should have been eased into the power punchers. Oh well boy is still young and has time on his side.

Breidis Prescott is undefeated right? 18 K/O in 20 fights? Freaking wicked. Sorry about your boy Khan though. Hopefully he will bounce back.

Yeah Prescott is undeafeted and his KO power is as good as you just stated. He definately has a good future ahead of him. I will be looking out for him for a long time to come. Just wish his Big Win didn't come over my boy in such a big way
Fingers crossed for Khan to come back...I really don't doubt his skills it's just about his ability to take a punch. Which we all know in boxing is quite a big thing. I think he will dominate Europe and the Commonwealth but not the world. thanx qwerty.
