Well, I think wrestling helps because it helps your stay motivated in your physical conditioning, and it also helps develop a fighters mind. There really isn't a better sport in high school to help you with MMA.
That is, unless you can get out of class early, skip wrestling and focus your sparetime on BJJ & MT instead.

Are you really being serious? Or are you trying to start a war?
Let's see...
Double Leg, DL to a slam, DL to a trip.
Single Leg, SL to a trip, SL to a DL.
Later Toss/Throw
I see some wrestlers doing hip tosses that are used in high school and collegiate wrestling.

okay maybe you are right but is it easy to do those techniques ? try to do those take downs against a Muay Thai fighter and see what happens. I mean I know double and single leg works but they are not easy to do it in a real fight.

Now are we talking real fighting or MMA? I got lost with your posts. In real life, why would you want to take someone down at all? in MMA, it is not done all the time...against all kinds of fighters.

i dont know what bars and places you go out drinking in but I dont see much ground fighting in a bar room brawl haha. the fight hits the ground when someone is so pissed they just fall or when 1 gets dropped LOL.

90 % of the mma fights go to the ground at least once in the fight
