Great sub. defence, great subs, great strikes, great balance, can kick, can take a few punches and is the best in the world at making a great gameplan and executing it. Seriously, I don't see many fighters that can threaten him. But a good striker can rock him. Mirko did it when he broke Fedor's nose. Fujita made him dance the fish dance, but that was lucky, and the punch was huge.

fedor is the man right now at heavyweight, his credentuals speak for themselves, i know gurre does not agree with me, but the one that can give him a run would be arlovski, he is the only other well rounded fighter that can probably keep from getting taken down, but thats a maybe, until arlovski fights a another big name besides sylvia,(overrated in my opionion) he is number 2, does anyone know who fedor fights next, guess i should check the pride website

i think fedor is going to be out for about 6-8 months due to a operation. I dont think fedor would have a problem taking arlovski down after all fedor is the world sambo champion. Nog would be a good test for arlovski but even then nog would be to good for arlovski imo

hm.. CroCop's out of the race too. I think he would be able to give Fedor a good run for the money again. After all, he is one of few in the recent years to really make Fedor go the full distance. Anyway I don't think the UFC fighters are ready for any of the top 3-4 in Pride. Arlovski is good, but he needs tuning up in my eyes. Sylvia is no where close to be honest.

because Fedor has trouble in that fight. It was rather even. Sure Fedor won on points. No doubt. But Mirko is still one of very few to take Fedor the distance and to give him trouble all fight long. Nogueira got pounded twice, those were worse. I still wouldn't say he beat anyone with one hand.

Mirko and Fedor are both very good at what they do.......I like Fedor more than Mirko for one reason......Mirko looks for the knockout.....Fedor works for the knockout.....He has the gift of timing....timing is everything.....Mirko is almost as good but not quite.....If he had been better than Fedor at this.......Fedor wouldnt have stopped that ( Punt your F'n head off ) kick by Mirko . <--- thats a period.
fedor emelianenko.......first round.
