The Gi is the Karate Man suit. lol No gi is without it, the stuff I'm doing now. You should work on all submissions really, and work to defend your back. Hands in tight....chin tucked...etc

everyone's game is individual, so there's no way to answer that question without scouting your opponents...

u cant really work on submissions, u only get them when they are handed to you, id work on chokes with the gi personally, but if i was you id work on escapes and training on control from mount guard and posture position in guard etc

Yes and remember position before submission, so work on controlling the opponent and maintaining balance, keep elbows tucked in. Before you start working on more than basic submissions make sure you can switch from position to position technically and with ease when drilling (not rolling). Also work on guard passes ect, if you need to at your level win by points but always look for the submission however never put yourself in a position to be submitted especially if rolling with guys who have more experience.
