Ian Freeman

Ian "the machine" Freeman is a very talented and experienced fighter.

He weighs in at 220lbs (100kg) and is 5'11 (180cm) tall.

His style is Vale Tudo, and he always comes ready to throw that leather.

After a few years in the UFC, he's moved back home and fights in the smaller organisations.

He's fought some big names (Tiger White, Anderi Arlovski to name a few).

His all time pro MMA record is 14 - 6 - 1 (Win - Loss - Draw)

Not to mention he made easy work of Frank Mir at UFC 38 although Frank was a little niave then and has improved his game since. Ian has retired now which is a shame one of the best hw/lhw to come out of uk along with James Thompson

Yeah hes built like a tank, i am biased when it comes to Ian as i feel as he is a true professional, he doesnt talk smack or tries to discredit other fighters, which in my book earns respect.

After all the years training it finally took its toll on ian i believe he fell of his horse and that was the final injury for him.
he is promoting his own fight events pride and glory in his home town sunderland and he write for a mag called fighters only and also cage rage

I believe that most of mma events in the uk will have Ian helping them out in some form or another, shame wont be able to see him fight again. He is also starring in a film called suckerpunch.
