The problem with Ken Shamrock is that he failed to evolve with MMA. I mean do not get me wrong, he has talent, but compared to the fighters today he is somewhat behind. Like Royce Gracie; Ken Shamrock needs to change his game and adapt to the way MMA is now, or retire. That's just how it is.

Chuck Liddell is currently at the top of his game. At this moment, like others have said, there are not many that could stand with him. He always seems to improve. With age comes wisdom?

Randy "The Natural" Couture. Since he has retired does anyone think he will come back or has he had enough? If he does decide to try for a comeback I think if he lost he would definitely retire for good. But if he won he may have a few fights left. I would personally like for him to coach. Who would not want to take advantage of his vast experience?

Forrest Griffin is not smart enough to take on Liddell yet. Of course he does have a puncher's chance, but so does everyone else. I say give him a year or two and he will be more dangerous, but he will always have Stephan Bonnar on his heels.

Just my two cents, or a few for that matter.

If you go by then older and wiser saying, then wouldn't Ken Shamrock be great because he is getting ancient? I do not believe it is a matter of wisdom but just the fact that Liddell is a great fighter and very adaptive. That is what I would say Shamrock's problem is, he may be a good fighter, but he is not adaptive. You could say you cannot teach an old dog new tricks, which is partially true with Shamrock I believe. I think for the most part he will always fight the way he has in the past and adapt little. This is the reason Liddell is dominating so much IMO, because adapts. If you stick to one punch combo everyone will learn it and lay you out before you can throw two blows, but if you change it up and learn new things then you are an unpredictable opponent and therefore quite dangerous.

i think ken should go to the ifl and coach or go to the WFA or something here in canada because he is not getting the respect he deserves.

So what are you trying to say? We are just that good?=)
Not to cross train cripples the martial arts, without it you can become a mechanic, but never an artist.

But in these fights, they will not be ended by KO or sub. They end with whoever has the first heart-attack or whoever dislodges a blood clot which blocks up their heart first.
