He sank a north/south choke. You've got to respect that

He beat hinkle with the north/south choke. It helps that Monson's arms are so huge when doing a choke like that

It looks like Munson and Slyvia will be the next Heavyweight title match up, not sure when but i believe that Munson is next in line. Not sure he could get Slyvia down. Interesting matchup

Munson is nothing special at all..hex a great wrestler and is fiercly agressive. his overall MMA skills are mediochre. Hes very thick and slow and has very heavy hands. I think Fedor or CC or Kharitonov would fuckin murk him.

Didn't Monson win an AD championship. The Man is an excellent grappler, a decent clinch fighter, and he has a decent chin as well.

He dosen't shoot lighting from his eyes or fire from his ass, but he gets the job done when he steps in the ring.

To say that someone with his chin and his grappling ability would get "fuckin murked" is a little over the top. He's a good fighter, he has the ability to beat any HW in the world on the ground.

You are right about him being a little slow though, he does need serious work on that

Monson has great grappling skills and is extremely powerful. Did you all see Monson last night? He was totally dominating. I think Sylvia is taking Monson lightly, exactly how he did Arlovski the first time. I do not think Monson is going to be like Arlovski and keep the fight standing up the entire time. He is smarter than he looks.

Monson looked good last night. I agree with you about sylvia's attitude. I think he might get lazy and let monson inside and get the takedown

Monson is awesome.. But I'm not sure that I would want to see Monson vs Sylvia. Sylvia may have figured out how to squeak out fights by using his reach to keep everyone away from him (like he just did to arlovski). Yeah, he won the fight, but it was possibly the most boring fight I have ever seen. No imagine that fight but slyvia being 11 INCHES TALLER.

sylvia can't keep monson off of him for long. I see this playing out one of three ways.
1. sylvia knocks monson out on the way in very quickly
2. Monson gets inside, takes tim down, and owns him
3. Monson gets inside, takes tim down, tim has wisley been working on getting back to his feet and does so, at which point we are back to square one with either 1 or 2 being possible again
