 Post subject: Just got my first suit question?

Hi, got my tkd suit last week and the trousers feel great and the top feels abit long just have way to my thighs and abit baggy is this good or should i change it to smaller also i have did research on how to tie a tkd belt and in all vids they rap them round twice mines is never going to go round twice is there another way of tieing this to go round once ?

The belt or "obi" traditionally wraps twice, but the TKD group is not really traditional. If it only goes once it is because you have a non traditional obi and just do it once.

but the Q: is can this be done once :D i have tried loads off ways just doesnt look the same :(

You wont be able to tie a box knot as with a double wrap, but you can get close......but it looks funny.

My nephew had the same problem so they just got him another belt. That's what i would do.

I agree you should ask for a longer belt so that you can make it look proper. Also about the roomy top part I personally always like it a bit roomy gives you more ability to do things. However if you are swimming in it you may want to ask for a bit smaller uniform
