I saw Muhammed 'King Mo' Lawal at Sengoku - Fifth Battle fighting Travis Wiuff from this weekend and have to say I thought he looked great. He looks very athletic and although I didn't see much of him because he won by TKO very early in the fight I was impressed. For what was I believe was his first MMA fight he also looked very compossed before the bell, he actually looked like the Veteran rather than Travis.
I saw that he is from Team Quest so is obviously from a good camp but this was the first time I have ever heard of him, what you guys think???

Well King Mo continues to impress. I saw his his fight at Sengoku 6 and he looked awesome. He dominated Fabio Silvafrom the begining of the fight up to his 3rd TKO win. He controlled a good and much more experienced fighter, took him down at will and landed some brilliant effective ground and pound. He looked so much more experienced than a guy fighting in is 2nd pro MMA fight.
Definately a guy to keep an eye out for. Very impressive start to an MMA career so far and hope to see more of it.

Lawal trains at my boxing gym. Its called Fortune Boxing gym. I know Mo is originally with Team Quest but Justin Fortune is his hands coach and I see Mo training there almost every day. Fortune is a fantastic trainer. Hes fought the likes of Lennox Lewis before and trained the likes of Tyson and Manny Pacqiao. Now he trains Babalu, Mayhem and Chonan as well. I see those guys almost everyday.

Cool FiG, thats awesome. So what do you think bout him???
Like I said, so far I have been very impressed with what I have seen in his 2 fights. He seems to have good striking with some very good wrestling, unsure bout his subs yet as he hasn't really used them but if his GnP continues to get better that will do the job fine. He looks so compossed for a new comer to pro MMA, it's very impressive and I hope we see more of him.

Hes very athletic. Olympic alternate caliber wrestling. Also a quick learner. His hands and GNP is getting better and better by the day. Not only that but he has excellent conditioning. He reminds me of a young Rampage. I think he has a bright future in this sport.

Well so far I have been very impressed with him, I really do think he could become a big name in MMA. He has had 2 very impressive wins and I expect more from him, a well rounded fighter with very good skills and a good attitude. My bet we see him in the UFC or at least turning heads in Dream within 2 years personnally I can't wait.
