Really it is a fight term that does not translate over to the medical feild. In trauma medicine thier is only one kind of KO...the kind that puts you out. The reasons are irrelevent.

Also the BP KO is a strange one. If you were to hit someone hard in part of the body and make the BP drop I would assume you are doing some major damage. The bodies blood pressure is monitored very well inside and normally it is someone being taken rapidly out of homeostasis that causes a drop in BP that rapidly....get thee to a MD!!!!

But that can be sad about it KO, being doing damage that is. That's why 90% of boxers have brain damage when they retire.

Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.

Here is the scary part...and everyone forgets this....any time you get knocked out...by choke out or impact, you are doing damage...ergo causing a brain injury...and getting hit does the same thing.

before anyone goes out and starts training, you have to figure out if the risk is worth it...personally I try NOT to get hit and toned down my training to a more "minor contact" style to avoid brain damage....I cant afford anymore brain damage :P :P :P
