Big ups to Serra though for the way he put Laimon in his place and told him exactly what he thought of him. PLEASE guys put an exhibition BJJ fight in a live UFC, that would be amazing.

For some it might be interesting. I have always thought BJJ was more fun to play than to watch. Being an old Sambo guy I could tell you I think the same of Sambo, fun to play...dull to watch.

My view on that is if they are going to do exibition BJJ then why not Thai fights or boxing matches....oh, yah...both dull to watch!

It's more of a Hatred and competitive thing that would get my attention more than anything.
They hate eachother and I think it would be fun to watch as its what they both can do. otherwise would love to see them have MMA fight bit that would never happen.
I dont find watching any of them dull a big boxing fan its where I started, but love MMA so much more and BJJ is great to watch when done properly.
Love all mma, and big UFC fan but I do miss Pride.
Big Supporter or British MMA so a shout out to Micheal Bisbing, Paul Taylor and Dan Hardy who are representing well and makeing their mark in the UFC!!!

For serra now i want and the whole mma world needs to see him fight hughes!!!
Failing that i would like to see him fight Marcus Davies, if he fights a wrestler it will be a dull fight of him being held down hit with odd strike. His BJJ as good as it is wont catch those strong wrestlers like fitch or kos.

What about dropping to LW? I think at his age and the fact he has bulked up since his LW days might be hard but would be exciting to see maybe even Penn vs serra 2, sounds good to me.

He will soon fight Hughes if he doesn't back out again...

No, just saying the last time he was supposed to fight Hughes he had an "injury." While injuries do happen I suspect Serra didn't like the match up with Hughes.

I dont think serra can beat hughes but he's a smart guy and i think he reaslises it needs to happen. I think hughes would also be up for that as it's a fight i he knows he can win, prob by GnP in the 2nd.

Th at i think will be serra'a last WW fight then he will have to drop down cos there are just to many big guys in WW that will eat him alive, Fitch, Kos, Diego and Thiago to name ust a few.

Hughes was just asked to battle with Alves, but was told that after that fight he will get Serra win lose or draw!

Serra looked better and than Hughes did against GSP. He's faster and it's not that hard to knock out Hughes. Maybe I'm just typing that cause I can't stand Hughes ha ha

It all depends on if Hughes sticks to his guns and his old ways than trying to look for the KO he so desperately wants. I think Serra will be shocked by the strength of Hughes.

The Serra hughes fight I am looking forward to althou to be honest not expecting an amazing fight.
I think hughes will be just to strong for him and will prob be like the newton 2, Penn 2 and Gracie fights...pinning him down and hitting with elbows and punches. Prob resulting in ref stopping it.

I have had people say 'oh that wont happen Serra is to good on the ground' I have just named 3 ground specialists and Penn a master so if hughes can do it to them then serra, no chance.
