Ninja Rua in UFC?

Postby Gurre » Sat Jul 16, 2005 7:27 am

Rumors are spreading of a Pride fightin in UFC 55.

Most recent is MMAweekly saying that Ninja Rua will infact fight in UFC 55 held at the Mohegan sun at the 1st of October.

Interessting it may seem as the Chute boxe academy is a really big force in Pride with 2 out of 4 remaining finalists in the Pride MW GP 2005.

It has also been said that Sergey Kharitonov has made a request of being the Pride representative in UFC. It has been said that he doesn't want to fight Fedor Emelianenko, or his brother Alexander. This due to the fact that they are good friends.

Nothing is confirmed though, but it sure will be exciteing to see the confirmed card for UFC 55.

can kick anyone's ass in the middleweight division...i think wanderlei threw his match against arona in pride 2005 because he didn't want to face him in the final...those guys are 2 tight! eventually people in pride will demand to see that fight wanderlei vs. shogun...that will be the best match ever in mma!

Eh, there have been a few churned up old threads as of late. For the most part though, the threads stay up to date. Just keep an eye out for them. Hard to miss.

Yeah, some of the people that join occasionally do not see the dates on the threads and post. We are mostly up to date on everything.

But he can still compete. I wouldn't count him fully out.
