I gotta say, Roger "El Matador" Huerta is probably my favorite up-n-comer at the moment. That guy's got so much raw talent, and a story that can pull at even the most stoic of heartstrings. Not only am I impressed with his fighting ability, but also his unwavering heart and warrior spirit, something that no fighter can be taught but must be inherited. I think this guy has the potential to become quite a huge name in MMA.

He has to impress, it's also his last contracted fight with the UFC. They haven't discuss about resigning.

At this point it's so hard to see how he will deal with the loss, we will know more after his next fight. He will say the usual 'I have learned from the loss and trained harder and will come back stronger' but they don't always do that.

I will keep my fingers crossed for him, as I do think he can be a top 5 LW if he can just build on what he has in his arsenol.

Well we will see 1 thing for sure if Sherk fights Huerta and that is exactly how good is the wrestling of Huerta cos as good as a fighter he is and I really think he is, I haven't seen much of the wrestling credentials he is suposse to have. He is a well rounded fighter however and I enjoy watching his fights all except the Kenflo fight where i thought he looked sloppy (IMHO anyway). I like Huerta but I too hope Sherk does fightn him and does mop the floor with him.

Well, Huerta always looks sloppy. That's his only problem. If he ever cleans up his technique, he will be unstoppable. Right now his key winning factor is Conditioning, athleticism, heart and well roundedness.

I really enjoy his fights, I can't recall him ever being in a boring fight. We need more fighters like him, Clay Guida, Tyson Griffin, Spencer Fisher and Frankie Edgar. They make the sport very exciting almost Pride and Dream exciting. Melvin Guillard is another exciting fighter that is well rounded but he's just too over eager, over athletic, foolish and lacks a decent wrestling game (especially take down defense).
