IMO he's the greatest BJJ fighter ever, he taught people that you're not neccessarily losing a fight if you're on your back.

Have to agree with gurre on this one it seems the Gracies have gone a little stale imo and recent results havent been what we have grown to suspect from probably the greatest martial arts family of all time. But if it wasnt for them mma/bjj wouldnt be what it is today. Respect!

Dont think he is best BJJ fighter ever, he isnt the best in his own family as Rickson is considered the best by Helio and royler & renzo have both won ADCC although this isnt a BJJ comp still best grappling tournament in the world.

True, and i havent seen a lot of World class BJJ competitors as like most of us that dont live in Brazil i was just going off what Helio was saying in his families book. Dont get me wrong Royce is one of my all time heroes as he and his family put BJJ on the map.

Just nit picking but Royce won the first, second and fourth UFC and Dan severn won the fifth i may be wrong but i think im right, if i am wrong correct me, however the work that Gurre has done on this site for the fighters is superb and i realise how much time has been devoted to posting the fighters stats so cheers Gurre for the hard work you have put in.
Any chance of Ricksons Stats being put on here Cheers mate
