should i take muay thai or kickboxing?

i really want to take MT but i cant find a MT gym in my area i am good a boxing and pretty much just want to learn to use the rest of my body im considering not taking KB because MT sounds much more effective, well id like some advice

it is what you make of it. MT has some advantages, but the hard training and the competition is good in KB as well. Take the KB if you dont have any MT in your area. Later you can work in MT if you find a gym you can train at.

only KB is better than nothing.

It depends what you want. Are you wanting to go into MMA or just the MT/KB?
If it's MMA i personally recommend M/T as you will be more effective up close. But if it's not MMA just do whatever looks better for you.

MT, more effective kicks, less nonsense kicks, and generally training -> There are far more McDojos in KB than MT around here anyway.
KB seems to be to fancy for me, also too much jumping around, thats why you always see MT fighters bouncing around in japanese fighting games (i think japanese created kickboxing out of MT)

apart from sagat from street fighter, he is awesome. i love his thai kicks to the chops!!

U should go for KB as that suits u the best.
u said u like to KB and that martial art is more comfortable for u.
im a muay thai fighter.
the training is hard.but effective.
i spar with a frend of mine.
he was using boxing,i won as boxer cant use their legs to kick.
