I have a 3rd Dan in WTF TKD and combination wise, you'll see a typical TKD tournament fighter start with a axe kick followed up by roundhouse kics and something spinning or jumping.

TKD tournaments are scored on the explosiveness and complexity of the kicks, not whether they really damage the opponent. And Punching?

Forget about punching in TKD. Its rarely scored high in a TKD tournament, thats why you see TKD fighters fight with their hands down towards their sides instead of up by their face. They know they wont get punched.

The more aerial spinning kicks in TKD competitiont he better. ITs almost like you're getting scored on the best exhibition you can display in a TKD tourney. Power, all that is almost a non factor in Traditional TKD judging (meaning korean judges).

That's what they call it in WTF TKD as well. Tornado kick.

i am still a noob in tkd ,but i focus on kos,so i use simple feints(something like simulate a dollyo chagi to the ribs, the kick to the head).i also use back kick a lot for counters because i cut all the footwork with 1 hit in the ab(it is not that they have weak abs,it is just this amazing counter kick)

Kicks like these can't work in tuff situations.

Like, which kicks flow into others easily when sparring, and against what kicks in a situation.
