So, the Elite crew has a few champs, but no HW champ...So, they set up a fight with Antonio "giant" Silva and one of my favorite Russian fighters.....Sergei Kharitonov ! You read it here first...or second...or even third...But damn it you read it here!

Antonio 'giant' Silva has just signed himself into the hospital for the night of the fight. He is very limited and Segei on his day is 1 of the best HW's in the world. His striking is up there with the best of them, he is a bad MF. His KO of Rizzo in pride 2005 MWgrand Prix final was awesome and he can now add another KO to his list IMO.

Interesting! EliteXC has been recruiting Sergei Kharitonov has definately fought much tougher oppositions but Antonio Silva is a big quick HW.

Ant Silva is very limited skill wise though and Sergei is in a different League. He is a mean bastard and has the skills to hurt you also. This is almost a mis-match, Sergei will however make a VERY credible Champion for them though and there is no doubt that he will be too in my mind!!!

Well it's not always a bad tactic, I saw Jean 'White Bear' Silva beat Paul 'Semtex' Dailey by letting him break his hand on his face, it was a bloody geniyus display of tactical fighting.
The only prob with Antonio deploying that tactic is that Sergei is able to make you see stars and is more likely to punch staright through your skull. This will be brutal!!!

Sergei will beat up Silva bad.

Very silently the ELITE XC has replaced Sergei Kharitonov with a much less impressive Justin Eilers! Lets face it Eilers is not as interesting a draw and for a championship belt, that is like giving Kimbo Tank for a belt.

Elite XC now has just crowned two champions, the HW Silva who only had to battle Eilers and out classed him and pounded the hell out of Eilers, and Jake Shields who only had to take on Nick "the goat" Thompson. The whole organization is weak man!
