anybody have a good work out for cavs without working out in the gym
o i also have bench and weights

calf raises, walk on your tip toes for a while, run up stairs just using your toes.

also if you have weights you can hold heavy weights in your hands and do calf raises with that, you can also do this with your toes on a stair or something raised so you get a full range of motion in the calf workout

Good stair drill to do:

10 calf raises
rest
9 raises
rest
8 raises
rest
7.....and so on.

Really good workout. At the end of it if your calves are not burning up the reps.

If you have a bike you can ride it uphill sitting down. That always hurts my calves

when your riding just make sure the balls of your feet are on the pedal, otherwise it wont workout your calfs

Actually, if your calves are hurting when you are riding with the balls of your feet on the pedal, you may have the saddle height too high or have a bad foot position.

Another good way to build calf strength is to skip while on the balls of your feet.

lots and lots of rope skipping, if you have access to a small trampoline, that could work as well.
