Well I have never had an Afro but 40 years in Karate and time having to use it on the streets and in Karate tournaments tell me that stretching is VERY important. One day you will kick and BANG out goes a groin muscle or hammy! Not fun mate!!!

Shadow: go back and re-read the thread...I agree with you! I think stretching is supper important. I was saying that you SHOULD stretch! I was being a cheeky monkey! Think on it a bit. I agree that stretching and running are very important and should be done daily, both. But I know people who do not stretch and dont do long or any cardio because they dont feel that you run in a fight or have time to stretch, they dont get it!
