I think AA needs a big win in the division to go for the strap! But who in the division would be big....maybe Vera and him could throw down, winner gets a title shot. If AA wins that is fine, if Vera wins that is just funny!

Even though the Werdum win wasn't pretty, I still consider it a big win. If the UFC doesn't give AA a shot now, IMO he should leave.

Crap, I forgot that one. It was a good win for him...even if it was not a specticle.

I wonder what'll happen once Werdum beats Vera...

Nothing happens. This match has as much significance as Bisping vs. Rashad

accoring to White or these so called UFC fans? If Werdum beats Vera he's right there in a mix for a title shot.
By the way, the Bisping phenomenon seems to continues. They gave him washed up McCarthy this time...

If Werdum beats Vera, he should get a title shot but wont. Just wait and see. UFC doesn't want Werdum to have the strap. They will "Machida" him for as long as they can.

Here's the most current roster I could get of the HW's in the UFC:
Arlovski Andrei 14-5-0 6' 4" (193 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Carwin Shane 8-0-0 6' 4" (193 cm) 265 (120 kg)
Coleman Mark 15-8-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 255 (116 kg)
Eilers Justin 9-5-1 6' 1" (185 cm) 235 (107 kg)
Gonzaga Gabriel 8-3-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 242 (110 kg)
Hardonk Antoni 6-4-0 6' 4" (193 cm) 245 (111 kg)
Herring Heath 28-13-1 6' 4" (193 cm) 250 (113 kg)
Kongo Cheick 21-4-1 6' 4" (193 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Lesnar Brock 1-1-0 6' 3" (191 cm) 265 (120 kg)
McCully Justin 8-3-2 6' 2" (188 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Mir Frank 11-3-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Morris Brad 10-2-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 230 (104 kg)
Nogueira Antonio Rodrigo 31-4-1 6' 1" (185 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Sanchez Eddie 10-1-0 6' 2" (188 cm) 230 (104 kg)
Velasquez Cain 2-0-0 6' 1" (185 cm) 240 (109 kg)
Vera Brandon 8-1-0 6' 2" (188 cm) 223 (101 kg)
Wellisch Christian 9-2-0 6' 3" (191 cm) 237 (108 kg)
Werdum Fabricio 10-3-1 6' 4" (193 cm) 231 (105 kg)

I don't see how they wouldn't give Werdum or Vera a title shot after their match. Who deserves it except AA maybe but that's about it. It's easily the crappiest weight class in the UFC. Unless Werdum has only one or two fights left his current contract I don't see how they could deny him a title shot. Just my opinion.

Well what I meant by Rashad vs Bisping was I didn't give a damn about these fighters.
I actually like Werdum, Arlovski and even Vera the way they fight.
I think if Bisping fought Wandy or Chuck he would get KOed with one shot

Hell Bisping vs. Ortiz even. They made Evans Vs. Ortiz, so why not Bisping vs. Ortiz.

Id say the MW division in the UFC is the crappiest weight class.

UFC claims that they are trying their best to get AA back so if they do I dont think anyone deserves it more than him.

I would agree with the AA statement. Yeah the MW is pretty thin as well but I just don't think it's as bas as the HWs. I wouldn't be surprised if the brought a few more MWs from the WEC up to the UFC.

This Lutter guy again... why did we have to see him again? I hope now we won't see him for a while.
As far as this weight, outside of Anderson there is still Henderson. Maybe Marquardt will get better and both fight. Rich is done.
Howabout Quarry vs Marquardt?

It's a fight that has something to it but we need to see how hungry AA is before title shot, I would love to see him fight a good stand up fighter...congo not sure how exciting it would be but potential is awesome and i like the sound of that.....AA win.
Love all mma, and big UFC fan but I do miss Pride.
Big Supporter or British MMA so a shout out to Micheal Bisbing, Paul Taylor and Dan Hardy who are representing well and makeing their mark in the UFC!!!

Lutter fought much better than Rich did.. He lost cause he gassed. in terms of talent.. Lutter>Franklin.
Im surprised they cut him. Theres a ton of two in a row losers not getting cut. If they fought again. I'd have Travis as the favorite.
